Persian Culture began its journey at the start of 2024 with the goal of preserving the heritage of Persian carpets and harmonizing them with contemporary needs and tastes. In our initial phase, we meticulously collected authentic carpets. These collected carpets were then categorized based on their unique characteristics, which led to the formation of three distinct sections within Persian Culture: Extension, Antique, and Vintage. Following the establishment of these three sections, specific goals and programs were defined and developed for the carpets, tailored to the nature of each category.

 

This new division, Extension, focuses on upcycling valuable carpet fragments that were no longer in circulation and were on the verge of being lost. We strive to revitalize these pieces by not only honoring the overall structure of the original carpet but also harmonizing them with contemporary tastes. Using a blend of traditional and modern methods, we incorporate unique, minimalist designs. Through this process, we reintroduce these fragments into the cycle of use, thereby adding to their cultural richness.

 

Our Antique collection represents a legacy stretching back decades. These are rare carpets distinguished by their rich colors, unique patterns, and hidden stories. We exercised immense care and discernment in selecting each piece, ensuring that only the most exceptional and historically significant carpets join this cherished collection.

 

The Vintage collection, while not as ancient as our Antique pieces, holds its own distinct charm and value. These carpets possess special characteristics, artistic merit, and unique beauty. They stand as a legacy from a period of significant transformation in Persian carpet design, serving as a testament to the evolution from classical to contemporary Iranian carpets.
